Polar: A Help Guide

We’ll get your data back on track!

Are your activities not being tracked or synced correctly? Follow these steps to check for the cause and restore syncing.


Important: After each step, please wait 30 minutes and check if the data is flowing again.


Step 1: Check Polar Data

- Open your Polar app

- Check if steps and training sessions are displayed

- If not: Sync your device with the app

Tip: Data is sent from the Polar app to WLP, not directly from the device!


Step 2: Reconnect the tracker in WLP

- Open the WLP menu → “Tracker Connection”

- Find the Polar logo

- Click “Disconnect”

- Select Polar again

- Follow the instructions

- Enable ALL permissions


Step 3: Disconnect from the Polar website

- In WLP: Disconnect Polar again

- Visit: https://flow.polar.com/settings/authorizations

- Log in

- Disconnect from WLP

- Reconnect Polar in WLP


Step 4: Clear the app cache

- Open your smartphone settings

- Go to “Apps” → WLP

- Select “Storage”

- Tap “Clear Cache”


Step 5: Complete restart

- Uninstall WLP

- Turn your smartphone off and then back on

- Reinstall WLP

- Set everything up again


Don’t worry—your data will be preserved during the reinstallation!

1. Patience is key:

- Wait 30 minutes after each change

- Check the sync regularly


2. Take a systematic approach:

- Try one solution at a time

- Keep track of what you’ve already tried


3. Keep your apps up to date:

- Update the Polar app and WLP regularly

- Check for updates for your Polar device
